Calm Volunteering
Lunga Noélia Izata is willing to share her own stories and use her platform to talk about movies, writing, volunteering, traveling and relationships.
Her first publication was a fiction novel ‘Sem Valor’ (meaning Worthless) where she addressed autism and prostitution; she co-authored with six African authors on a motivational book ‘Destiny Sagacity’ about the power of destiny; her memoir ‘The story is about me’ tells her adventures volunteering in Uganda and staying with a family in the village of Wakiso; and her recent offering “Read my Book’ is a fictional approach to apartheid.
She obtained Honours, in a Post Graduate Diploma in Media Management from Sol Plaatje Institute for Media Leadership at Rhodes University. Lunga also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Leeds Beckett University with Public Relations as her major. This course indebted her the opportunity to direct an albinism/bullying prevention documentary.
